Right on schedule, Microsoft has issued another critical update<\/a> to patch a virus vulnerability in Windows. They say this is similar to the Blaster virus, so it may be wise to patch your systems ASAP. You can get the patch from windowsupdate.microsoft.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On related note, there’s still<\/a> talk about that previous virus having contributed to the blackout of a few weeks ago. People were speculating about that from minute one, but denials were flying just as quickly. I, for one, won’t be the least bit surprised if the virus did in fact contributed to the blackout.
