(My commenting on other people&#8217;s blogs has finally paid off.)  Unlike many, I wasn&#8217;t in a huge rush to lock in a user ID.  With a last name as unique as mine (only 6 of us in the United States), I&#8217;ve never had a problem getting the ID that I wanted anywhere.  <\/p>\n<p>Look for me to put some invites up for grabs if and when I get some of my own.<\/p>\n<p><b>Update:<\/b>  My thanks also go out to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timoblog.blogspot.com\/2004\/06\/gmail-invites-are-new-black-thanks-to.html\">Timo<\/a> who just hooked me up with another invitation.
