The project has been dragging on for too long, and Dre has a history of this.  Maybe Rakim just needs to get back with Eric B.   It&#8217;s funny how just <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cajconnections.com\/hiphop\/archives\/000126.html\" title=\"RAKIM SPEAKS ON HIS ALBUM AND ON WORKING WITH DR. DRE\">a few days ago Rakim was talking about how the album was about to drop<\/a>, and everything was going so well with Dre.  Talk about a head-fake.  <\/p>\n<p>I wonder how <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cajconnections.com\/hiphop\/archives\/000132.html\">the recent signings of Eve and Ice Cube<\/a> will turn out.  Aren&#8217;t we all still waiting for Dre &amp; Cube&#8217;s Helter Skelter project?  Don&#8217;t hold your breath on any of these projects seeing the light of day.
