“The Chicago Police Department apologized yesterday (July 22) for issuing a community alert that described a man suspected in a series of sexual assaults as resembling hip-hop artist and actor Ice Cube.” They quickly realized their (very foul) mistake and issued an apology. But to add insult to injury a Chicago TV station, WBBM-TV, aired an Ice Cube video while reporting the original story. Cube, for his part has handled this whole thing rather calmly. But I think his real feelings were well documented back in 1988.
