Noah’s (Basketball Shot) Arc

OK, I know I’m mad late on this, but what the hell, I just found it. I was catching up on my reading when I came across an invention to improve a person’s basketball shot. It’s called Noah, and it uses a video camera and machine vision to analyze the trajectory of the ball. Here’s what it does:

The Noah System is a revolutionary training system that allows athletes to build a consistent arc, which is the most difficult part of a free throw or jump shot to master. The cutting-edge computer based video/audio system gives the shooter immediate verbal feedback and data analysis on the accuracy of each shot taken during a workout session.

Here’s a short article about Noah, and here’s a longer USAToday article.
