I knew this would happen – Rakim Finally Gives Up on Aftermath. The project has been dragging on for too long, and Dre has a history of this. Maybe Rakim just needs to get back with Eric B. It’s funny how just a few days ago Rakim was talking about how the album was about to drop, and everything was going so well with Dre. Talk about a head-fake.
I wonder how the recent signings of Eve and Ice Cube will turn out. Aren’t we all still waiting for Dre & Cube’s Helter Skelter project? Don’t hold your breath on any of these projects seeing the light of day. I think Dre should stick to working with new artists.
I feel bad that the fallout of Rakim and Dr Dre even was called out. Because with exceptional talents that both of them has.The could over created some masterpiece together. Thats too bad. I wish the best for Rakim. They ought to make up, He ought to resign then reign like he once did in the early 90’s.
