I keep coming across people who want better blogging tools. Seems like a good opportunity for somebody to come in and take the market by storm. (Maybe I need to get back into writing code…) The requirements list could be built from these:
- Susan’s list of tools – I would love to have all of these
- The .Net Guy says he wants something new – check the comments
- What The Blogosphere Needs More Of – lots of ideas in the comments of this post
As I mentioned to you before, Michael, I would like to add a fairly robust photo editor to the blogging package. Something that will let you crop, adjust brightness and contrast, resize, and add captions. Also, it should give you several ways to display the pics with html, generating the code for you. I think making a tool of this sort would be a great asset. The problem is, who is willing to pay for it? Even if it was under $50 USD.
yeah, selling code is always a problem, especially with all the (legal) free stuff floating around
