I just noticed that the weekday Boondocks are in color on my myYahoo! page. Yet the ones that I get emailed daily, from uComics are still black & white. I wonder if Yahoo is colorizing them, or if the other publishers are removing the color. I suspect it’s the latter. It makes perfect sense in the newspaper world, where the whole paper is black & white (excluding USAToday), but it makes no sense on the web.
P.S. I just checked Doonesbury on both sites and it’s in color on both. Now it’s clear to me that this is part of the vast kon-spiracy by the man to keep the Boondocks in the ghetto of black & white comics. 🙂
Removing the color from Huey? Although his grandfather has probably threatened to slap the black offa him, it could never happen!
